Friends.
In real life (not through the internet, obviously), I don’t really share that much. I’m more of a listener. Okay, more of an awkward conversationalist. I’m better at getting to know people than I am at speaking the words that help people get to know me.
For me, the moments that are the best in relationships are when someone validates your familiarity by proving they know one thing about you, something that is truly you - one of your unique quirks that takes time to see. Those are the moments I relish.
It has been far too long since I’ve felt that kind of intimacy.
